Janet Palmer Mullaney
Founder and publisher of Belles Lettres: A Review of Books by Women Mullaney received WNBA's highest honor "for her enduring and unique contribution to the world of books and, through books, to society." At the award ceremony Mullaney was welcomed "as the 49th member of the distinguished sisterhood of outstanding and renowned bookwoman" and was acknowledged "for her dedication to the development and growth of Belles Lettres, which supports and celebrates the diversity and wealth of women's literature and helps us affirm our alliance with women writers."
