Placing an Ad for The Bookwoman
INITIATING AN AD
Send an email to The Bookwoman editor Shannon Janeczek (sjeditor@yahoo.com) to book the ad with the subject heading: An Insertion Order, include issue date(s), size, and rate. You may send an electronic file of the ad but it MUST originate from a MAC format. The editor can accept native Photoshop, Illustrator, and QuarkXpress files. If the ad is a Quark file, it must follow the guidelines below.
DESIGN SPECS
- QuarkXpress files need to collected for output and include fonts
- Images must be an EPS or TIF file.
- Resolution: 300 dpi (this applies to native Photoshop files as well)
- Black & White preferred (all adds will only run in B&W)
- InDesign files are also acceptable with same image, color and resolution requirements.
- We also accept PDF, JPEG, EPS, and TIFF files in grayscale or black and white at 33 dpi.
MAIL HARD COPY
Mail a hard copy of the ad and a copy of your payment check to The Bookwoman editor Shannon Janeczek. Include a copy of your Insertion Order email, contact information, name, address, phone, and fax numbers.
