The Women’s National Book Association national manual was originally in notebook form, and copies were passed down from officers and committee chairs to their successors. It is now on the WNBA Web site and can be found at www.wnba-books.org/For Members Only/National Manual. It is vital that officers and chairpersons comply with the calendar requirements as outlined in each of the respective office responsibilities in order for WNBA’s organization to operate efficiently. The Women’s National Book Association is sustained because of the voluntary efforts of talented, dedicated women. By providing a national “what-has-to-be-done” manual within a workable time frame, WNBA hopes to make each job run more smoothly and effectively.
Each year the officers and chairpersons should review the respective responsibilities, providing suggestions for refinement.
