Join WNBA/Washington

Join WNBA and become part of a dynamic local and national network of women and men who are publishing professionals book lovers.

The Women's National Book Association, a nonprofit professional association, was founded in 1917 to give visibility to the role of women in the world of books and publishing, to bring together women and men active in that world, and to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas and information. WNBA/Washington, the third largest WNBA chapter, was established in 1978.

  • Monthly programs on literary or professional development topics, each usually preceded by a networking reception

  • Two networking brunches -- one in the fall (September) to open the program year, and one in the spring (May/June) to close the program year
